What you give us
For an estimate review, you provide an email address, vehicle details, ZIP code, a description of the concern, and uploaded estimates or photos. A VIN is optional. Repair shops applying to advertise provide business and contact details, service area, credentials, and related links.
How we use it
We use your estimate information to create and email your report, manage review credits and payments, and provide service support. A copy of each completed report and the customer email address goes to the EstimateShield owner for service records and support. We use shop application details to research eligibility, contact applicants, prepare approved ads, and manage sponsored listings.
Services involved
OpenAI processes submitted repair information to produce the review and research public sources. Stripe handles checkout and payment details. Resend delivers report and shop emails. A report may show sponsored shops selected by ZIP code; those shops do not receive your email, VIN, uploaded estimate, or report from us.
On your device
If you start checkout after filling the form, your browser temporarily saves the form and attachments so they can be restored when you return. The draft is cleared after a completed report; saved drafts older than 24 hours are discarded when you revisit. Your most recent completed report may also be saved in this browser so you can reopen it.
Your questions and requests
For questions about your information, a report copy, or a deletion request, email davesautomotive91@gmail.com. Some payment and service records may need to be kept for accounting, dispute handling, or other obligations. We do not use the report email address to enroll you in marketing messages.
